Listing a game
Branding
We use a total of 4 different aspect ratios throughout the frontend and social media channels. In the following, we will explain how each of these assets is used and how to get the most out of your branding.
We have an optional photoshop template that helps you with the branding.
Cover Vertically
This cover resembles the aspect ratio of a “traditional” game/book cover. It is used whenever a grid of games is shown, such as in the search or all game tab. We recommend
- Place the logo of your game on top of other game assets such as the main character of the game
- If you have published other games under the same franchise, we recommend clearly stating the version (e.g. season 2)
Cover Horizontal
This cover is used for highlighting specific games in a slider component. It will only be shown on desktop sized screens. You could create a variation of the Cover Vertically. However, we recommend:
- Choose a completely different theme compared to the Cover Vertically. This creates variety throughout the UI and can increase the click-through-rate.
- Showcase some signature elements of your game e.g. multiple characters or gameplay components
- Don't forget to place your game logo, although it does not need to be as prominent
Cover Small
This cover resembles an application icon. It is used in navigation components. We recommend:
- Only use the essentials of your logo (not the full name, only initials or other keycomponents)
- Use a background that contains a signature color/pattern of your game
- Use a background that is not distracting. Keep in mind that this asset is displayed rather small.
Logo
The Logo is used on the gamepage and in socialmedia posts promoting the game. It should follow:
- Only use the logo (no additional components)
- Transparent background

- Place your media into all four canvases.
- Delete or hide the layers with the name “DELETE ME”
- Export: The easiest way to export your media will be via File > Export > Quick Export as PNG (select a folder and all three canvases will be exported at once)
